How One photographer used Creative Commons Licence to build his brand!

We have just had a very interesting conversation today with the photographer Eric Neal who has been giving away his photos with a creative commons licence to buld his brand and get exposure. Eric is a wonderful street photographer who won the street photo-art award at the world photo competition and received camera gear and money as the top prize. He started experimenting with allowing companies and individuals to use his photos for free in return for credit.

Generally, exposure only is frowned upon in the photography community but Eric has no such problem. He realizes that not everyone can afford to pay thousands to licence image rights but they might be willing to provide valuable traffic to his website in return. When a multi national company decides to use your images and credit you, people take notice. The exposure you get will turn into paid opportunities. Eric has hopes to become a Nikon Ambassador one day. His photography is certainly up to par and we think that when the tme is right, he will get his wish.

The value of photography

We use serps.cloud to minotor our rankings.

Using a free SERP checker is straightforward. Simply enter your website's URL, select the search engine you want to monitor, and let the tool analyze your website's ranking data. The tool will then generate a report indicating where your website ranks for specific keywords, and how your rankings have changed over time.

One of the best things about using a free SERP checker is that it allows you to keep track of your competitors' rankings as well. You can see how your competitors are performing, which keywords they are ranking for, and where they are ranking in comparison to your website. This information can be used to improve your website's SEO strategy and to determine how you can outrank your competitors.
